Today is the day!  Kicking off the blog I’ve created to share my enjoyment and appreciation of the Sega (and all around video game) culture, I am giving away a free SEGA game.   I will announce the winner on Tuesday, August 8, 2012, and if there is a good response, will start another giveaway on Wednesday August 9 for another game! THE PRIZE:  A Sega game of my choosing from my collection.  The game could be from any system (Master, Genesis/Mega Drive, CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, or any Sega title released on another console).   Prizes given are all considerably good games, generally worth around $10-$30 on averageonline.  The game WILL be a quality game (in my opinion).  There won’t be any Great Baseballs or Madden 1995 games going out. The game will be complete with case, insert, manual, and working cartridge/disc. THE RULES: Must be a Tumblr follower! Reblogs on Tumblr (max of 5) each count as an entry. Following @VivaLasSegas on Twitter and re-tweeting both count for entries. Liking www.facebook.com/vivalassegas on Facebook counts as an entry. Can’t be afraid to send me your mailing address! THE WINNER: Winner will chosen using a weighted random picker generator that counts all reblogs, tweets, etc. IF you take a picture of you with your prize and post in on any/all of your Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook, and tag Viva Las Segas in it, I will feature the picture on vivalassegas.com and send you an additional free gift! WHY: Because I love Sega games, and want to share that love.  Not just share with a blog dedicated to playing and collecting games, but with actually sharing something for you to play and add to your collection.
