A good find for only $3! It’s complete and in great condition!
Bioshock Infinite: Ultimate Songbird Edition for X-Box 360 came a day early from Best Buy, and also came free of charge after a huge computer issue refunded thousands of Best Buy’s Bioshock pre-orders.
I must say that the “Handyman Action Figure” is a bit of a disappointment, as he makes a M.U.S.C.L.E. figure look like a giant. The Songbird statue is very impressive though, as are the other bonus items.
My bathroom has gotten lots of attention on the web, but it’s really just a complement to my game room.
I custom made these shelves with my dad to fit the various spaces in the room and the various consoles and odd game sizes. In the middle of the room is a futon, so the area to play games on can also double as a guest bed.
Games and collectibles line the entire room, except for back wall which features some of my favorite musical artists. All the consoles are hooked up and ready to play, run through some switchers so swapping games and systems can happen quickly and easily.
These pictures are just an overview of the room.

An updated pic of the Sega Saturn & CD collection!
Earthworm Jim is valiantly protecting the space that will be taken up by the final 12 Saturn games needed to have all the US titles.
CD-32x is complete, but regular Sega CD is only about halfway to completion.
I’m totally a Rocky fanboy.
I have been very eager to get my hands on the new series 3 figures from NECA. My brother found both Clubber Lang figures for me last night(sadly no yellow shorts Rocky yet), so now the Rocky display is growing even more.
These figures are 10x better than the figures done by Jakks a few years ago. NECA responded to my request for street clothes/training versions of figures saying that they weren’t going to go that extensive with the line, but I would really love to have a training Rocky from each movie.
The Assassins are still growing in number…
Added the AC3 Collector’s Edition statue to my collection, as well as the SDCC exclusive NECA Eagle Vision Ezio.
The SDCC figure that usually sells between $50-$100 has dropped considerably on eBay recently (down to an affordable price), and looks excellent up close. Wish I had a better way to showcase it better.
The Connor statue is by far the nicest statue I’ve seen come with a collector’s edition to date (sans the crazy expensive Kingdoms of Amalur troll statue). It’s heavy, very detailed, and looks absolutely amazing. Next to the Hot Toys Ezio, I’d say it is the nicest AC collectible available.
Ordered this 36” long Normandy wall sticker from walls360.com last week during their sale on EA Games decor. Showed up quickly, and I am definitely pleased with the quality. Looks great up close and above my slew of Mass Effect (and other gaming) figures.
Here is my hooked-up-and-ready-to-play console collection.
Top Row: DVD/VCR, Panasonic 3DO FZ-1, Philips CDi 490, X-Box 360.
Second Row: Atari Jaguar, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2 (slim).
Third Row: Atari 2600 Jr, Sega Saturn (MK-80001), Nintendo 64, Playstation 1.
Bottom Row: Sega Master System, Sega Genesis (Model 2) with 32x & Sega CD (Model 2), Super Nintendo, NES.
All the consoles are hooked up at ready to go via 3 switchers, 2 surge protectors, and their own power circuit which has a switch behind the TV. Cabinet was again custom made by my dad and me.
New Rocky figures from NECA should be hitting retail shelves soon! (That’s right, I’m a big Stallone fan)
I’m excited to get an Ivan Drago and a Rocky that actually looks like Stallone. Don’t get me wrong, the battle-damage version (seen here) looks great, but the sculptor for the regular version should be fired.
Borderlands 2 comes out in less than a week!!!
And I just got a CL4PTR4P figure from NECA this past week!
Here is my full collection of Philips CD-i games (some shouldn’t even be considered “games” but what the hell).
I’m up to fifty titles, and I must say that I am actually enjoying the hilarity of such titles as “Zombie Dinos From Planet Zeltoid” and “Bodyslam: Mutant Rampage”. I’m a sucker for FMVs, so this should come as no surprise.
Alright NECA, I understand that your figures are really nice and cost $15-$20 a piece, so a “vehicle” or “accessory” should be a higher price, because it is bigger and uses more material, etc. But $30 for this thing is a little ridiculous.
Sure, Da Vinci’s Flying Machine from Assassin’s Creed has a two foot wingspan, and looks good from a distance, but up close it is pretty crappy. Who cares about a firing missle? Who is going to actually PUT an Ezio figure onto this thing? I got it just for display purposes like every other NECA item I own, and now I am like, “ehh where the hell do I put this thing?”
Also, while it was kind of fun NOT having any instructions on how to assemble it (it was harder than you think), I kept saying to myself “please don’t break, please don’t break”. This was not because I am crazy strong, or because it looked brittle, but because I have literally on two separate occasions had NECA figures break while gently taking them out of the package. After putting it together I DID find instructions online, but that didn’t make it feel any less breakable.
Sorry, I’m just a big kid who still buys toys from time to time to accent his nerdy video game room. This time I felt a little ripped off.
Pipboy 3000 version 1.1 is complete.
I added real working LEDs to the front, reworked the screen to fit better, added a real turning knob, and did a few other small touch ups.
I failed at soldering (first timer) the knob into the circuit to operate it. I plan on improving it again soon though! This is what I’ll be wearing at DragonCon in FIVE DAYS!!!
